Joseph Christopher “Chris” Moore, 59,
of Prunedale, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born July 2, 1953.

Chris worked as a cement mason, house framer and handyman.

Chris was the father of Joshua Moore (Tracy) and Jason Moore (Cheryl), Michelle Gordon and Richard McLaughlin; grandfather of Brayden, Liana, Jacob, Jason Jr., Kaehla; son of the late James Thomas Moore and Patricia Leona Moore. Chris was one of six children. His sisters, Elizabeth Catherine Sciarini (Ed) and Patricia Louise Williams of Modesto, Lillian Margaret “Peggy Casey” of Hollister; and brothers, James Thomas “Seamus” Moore (Noreen) of Salinas and William John “Bill” Moore of Prunedale. His girlfriend, Charlotte Dougherty, of Prunedale, was at his side.

Rosary and Viewing will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m.; Rosary at 7 p.m., at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 E. Alisal St., Salinas, CA 93901

Burial will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 12 noon, at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Salinas, CA 93907.

Flowers are welcome. A wake will be held afterwards at the home of Seamus and Noreen.
